Silicone Mold Making
Tuesday, April 16, 2019, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Using household products, students will be able to make silicone molds of their favorite pins, metal design elements, faces. This can be useful when you have a one-of-a-kind item that you don’t want to use in a collage, shadowbox, acrylic pour, etc. Make your own copy with clay, epoxy, Quikwood. Registration required. Teacher Leah Reed, a gourd artist from Epping, New Hampshire.
Saturday, April 20, 2019, 1 - 3 p.m.
$35 members / $45 non-member
Spend your afternoon learning about surface tension, ink suspension, and patterns in the workshop hosted by artist Maryellen Tully. Each participant will learn to create one-of-a-kind marbelized papers and scarf by exploring the Japanese Suminagashi technique. Reservations and registration required.
