Terry Barnes
Fine Art Photographer
Born in the Atlanta, Georgia area, I began shooting photos in my teens as a hobby, and gradually progressed to a professional status.
My love is the outdoors and to photograph nature’s scenery as I am so blessed to witness. I strive to capture the beauty of this world and to reproduce it in a print, as my eye saw it in that moment. After visiting the North Carolina mountains for most of my life, I had always dreamed of living in this area and pursuing my passion for photography.
I now reside in Franklin, North Carolina, and will be forever striving to capture the beauty of this surrounding area through my Fine Art images.
My photographs have appeared in Views Magazine, The Laurel of Asheville, The Georgia Mountain Laurel, and the The Laurel of Highlands-Cashiers magazines. I also appeared in WNC Magazine and as a finalist in the WNC Magazine Photography Competition.
My awards include Best In Show for three years in the Blue Ridge Art Center National Juried Show, in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
